First Swim Lesson

Cole had his first swim lesson today. He loved it, but I was a little overwhelmed. They should offer a class to the parents on how their classes go. I was caught totally off guard. They just jumped right in and before I knew what happened, we were singing songs I don't know the words to and doing routines that were totally foreign to me. The wheels on the bus go round and round...am I supposed to know this song? I got my groove on eventually, but damn, I really had no idea what I was getting into. The video doesn't show any of this due to technical difficulties (Shelly forgot how to use a camera), but at least you can see Cole chillin' in the water. We don't dunk his head 'till the 3rd lesson, so check back in 3 weeks for the good stuff.

Coop - Get the paper!

I taught Coop to fetch the paper a while ago and he's pretty good at it now.  He has some trouble on Sundays when the paper weighs more than him, and more often than not half the paper falls out of the bag by the time he gets it back to me.  But that's OK, it's the thought that counts.  Here he is this morning lending me an assist so I don't have to walk all the way out there to pick up the paper.
